My roo's cocorico all day long
I'd rather cocorica than this crazy squawking going on today - the Barn Swallows have returned and they are all freaked out with them flying overhead

Mr P was actually screaming like he does when I pick him up! Hey, Marty - you gonna beat the crap of those Swallows??? :lau

https://www.backyardchickens.com/th...es-stories-of-our-flock.1286630/post-26746516

...and she got a look at the culprit - a very large coyote

https://www.backyardchickens.com/th...es-stories-of-our-flock.1286630/post-26753381

Rebecca had a close call when one of her horses 'Dirt' covered Gryffyn's nest with hay, the eggs became cool worrying her that they might not survive. She candled them though and seems that 2 never developed and the remaining 2 seem good to go.

https://www.backyardchickens.com/th...es-stories-of-our-flock.1286630/post-26750851

Rebecca is still trying to catch that big ol' coyote.

And now it's time for Hatch Watch - those eggs under Gryffyn will be hatching.

Today's Chick Flicks

Wow, their tails are really starting to pop - noticeably more from your video a couple of days ago!

They look like they were having fun - and they probably got their day's worth of grit pecking in the sand box.

So darling. I can't wait for babies, now!!!

MY white rock girl is still broody - even with moving her to the broody tractor. I set her with eggs Thursday night - here's hoping:fl
