Yes I was looking at the pictures of yours closely and I definitely see the difference.
The breeder also said that the feathers would be on the leg shaft only, not on the foot. I think from peering closely that is correct also.
Somehow he convinced me that I could cope with this degree of leg feathering and so here I am!
Squirrel, you have to look close to see her feathering, really close.

Blueberry, same thing, very lightly feathered and very short.

It is a start in the right direction. One day we will get you to where you have one of these in your flock.

What do people say when they see him? I'd love to have a rooster like that.

I get a full spectrum of different looks from other people in town. But they are getting used to seeing me with a chook or two.

Squirrel’s look similar. I think that is where I am heading.
Meanwhile, here are the two I can’t tell apart. Face on they are easy to tell. One has a sharp line to the root of her beak and the other has a broader brown band. But this is the first time I have caught them both head on so I think I will take @bgmathteach’s advice and put a dab of green food dye on one of them. It is one of them that is very assertive and one who has a bit of a poopy bum and has been a bit lethargic but I am not sure if it is the same one.

Oh, and I have a camera hog.

Your camera hog is practicing their "Grumpy Chicken" look already.
