I don’t handle Mr P as he just doesn’t enjoy it, and then there is the whole screaming like he is being murdered, and his lady friend Marty beating the tar out of me! So I also don’t enjoy it! The only time I handle him is to trim up his topknot so he can see.

And I’m holding Jaffar as I read this post. He must be tired out, because he’s falling asleep on my arm.

Now why is Mr P sleeping in a nest box on top of the broodies with their babies? Hmmmm I sure hope he is going to be one of those dadas that helps the mamas, and not a drop-bet dada.

I wouldn't bother use a mask. Chickens have a right to poop freely.
They have no right whatsoever to recklessly trash everything for a mealworm. ONE WORM.

I might as well just take my beautifully bbq steak and throw it on the ground! I tried to eat out on the patio, but suddenly I was surrounded by seven feathered beasts. I made a hasty retreat back into the house! Followed closely by Coco. (She made it through the door before I could close it.)
She’s a good snuggle chicken!

By the way…. My Chooks are not afraid of anything. I was mowing the yard, they were following me from behind. I’m cooking my bbq dinner and they all hang around the patio grill area.
