They love a blow drier on low with no heat on. It is very important that there be no heat on otherwise you will scald them.

Well sore when I put water, eye lubricant, antibiotics - burns like crazy.

Opted not to go to emerg and sit for a couple hrs to be seen by a dr when really I know what to do.

Meanwhile I have a name for the little Pecker……
:hugs :hugs

❤️ for the eye injury, 😂 for the chick's name

We have a yard blower, butt we couldn't find the battery. And we couldn't use my Nana's hair dryer. She would never touch it again if I dried a chicken with it, even though her egg comes from a chicken butt.
I have a hair dryer but I really only use it for chickens.

Geez. If it is that sore I think you should see someone. You don’t want a scar on your cornea.

So glad to see her out and about, her black feathers look gorgeous in all the green ❤️
She is definitely not right but she is nibbling a few leaves. And she managed to stand on one leg and scratch her head without falling over.
I don’t know what to make of it but I am all teary with happiness that she decided to come out onto the lawn.
