Sigh. Let me find some fluffy butts. I was going to post them yesterday, but *extremely loud sneeze* I got that cold *loud angry chicken noises from the angry chickens * and I forgot.

Lovely names, I cannot wait to see Brownie out and about with the chicks. Do not panic yet if they are slow to eat. Chicks really do not need to eat or drink for roughly 72 hours after hatching. The absorbed yolk sac allows this buffer. Now I am paranoid and like to get them eating and drinking as soon as I can, but some are slow and give me fits.

Yes these Silkie babies were slow in my opinion - but now they eat like champions, and their crops are always full - I wonder how they don't tip over at times!

They wanted to eat them. I discouraged them from doing so. Philomena pecked my eyelashes for that.

I wish that poke grew here. We ate it every spring in KY

I wish blackberries/boysenberries grew on my property. They grow wild only 4 hours north of me. I couldn’t transplant them either

I have been giving eggs away also - I only have one person buying eggs this year. Last year I couldn't keep up with demand and this year no one wants eggs.
