I'd be in a real panic

😆 Caught red handed :D
Hello Marie! How are you? I was wondering where you were, hadn't heard from you in a few days. Is it raining there also?

Was looking at the News this morning and in London it was raining, not sure how far you are from there.

How is Tina's foot? Last you said it was better - has it remained so?

Good news: The chicks are dry now. I didn’t do anything mama did. She looks to be drying out as well. Everyone is eating and drinking.

Bad news, it wasn’t poppy butt on that chick. Its a prolapse of some sort. I am on Emergency thread but it doesn't look good at all. I have it in my incubator @ the moment but sighhh there is little hope.

:(
Oh no! How awful? I never heard of a prolapse in a chick. Prolapse of her vent?
That sounds terrible.
:hugs

Ill pay tax in a minute....medical rant. So the right side of my lower back is in pain and I cant walk. I have a neck ablation on the 11th. Two more drs. appts. on the 15th and a gastric emptying on the 26th that is 4 hours long then colonoscopy an the 30th. So many appts. I am quiting the lithium this week to see if its making me sick and going back on my Latuda.

Ahhh - but it's Pony Sunday - that is why I didn't post about it yesterday haha!

I am sorry about the prolapse. I wish I could offer advise but I have only dealt with prolapse once and it did not end well. The chick was hatched out in my last incubation and it had not entirely absorbed the yolk sac. Another of the chicks drying off in the bator must have spotted it as they pecked and pulled before I could separate it.

Is it the butt or the umbilical - take a pic and post here so we can see it.
