To be honest I do not remember if she did or not.Didn’t RC say they were sexed as pullets? I could be wrong and frequently am!
Yes, give them more food, and a hug for my favorite grumpy chicken. I have a glimmer of hope that soon I will have a Grumpy Marshmallow. Combs are starting to sprout, and fast too.View attachment 3496420

I believe they are all girls but what do I know?!In all the excitement of you getting chicks have you thought about the possibility of potential boys? I know the legbars are supposed to be auto-sexing at hatch. What about the welbar? We for sure will have to very closely monitor the 2 black chicks combs as those are not auto-sexing. Miss Tassels being a olive egger could have another tell-tale sign to watch out for. Watch her shoulders and back closely, even if there is no large comb forming 5 weeks on look for copper coloring coming in. Hackle copper good, back and shoulder/wing copper bad. The pure black Ameraucuana will be tricky and will probably have to base it off of comb alone until it is old enough to look for saddle feathers.
I did.To be honest I do not remember if she did or not.
Excellent sprouting!Sprout report.
This was taken 5 days ago, they were just starting to get combs, and wattles.

I hear a "I told you so" in my future from @BY Bob .
Oh I am so glad to read this, and you have definitely earned a strong drink! The difference a few hrs and some amazing people on this thread can do.
Thank you to everyone for the support.
It was the umbilical I am 100% positive. Its been snipped with no further bleeding. The area has been thoroughly dabbed with Vetericyn and a bit of blue kote to help hide the spot from his siblings.
Baby is back with mama de-stressing from my fussing. I have hope the wee one will be just fine.
I however may need a strong drink![]()
