I am sorry, ticks are bad already here as well. Between us all we have already gotten 9 off of us that I know of. The dogs are kept on nexguard as it is the best flea and tick pill I have personally found and the amount of dead ones coming off of them is insane. So far have yet to find one on the horses. Actually, I have yet to find one on one of the horses since we had them.
Why isn't there Nexguard for people?
Ugh.
Do you have Lyme badly where you are? It is a huge issue here.

Thank you.
Do others have roughly the same experience?
Everyone else, I know how to convert pellets into crumble and have a full armory of weapons to help me do that.
However I want to figure out how much crumble to buy so that I don’t have to go through the hassle of grinding, chopping or otherwise pulverizing pellets!
OK I’m so behind, but has anyone mentioned that you’ll want to duplicate the nutritional profile of starter if you switch out? Are they at four weeks now?

We area week away from the official start of summer break for Rosie. The last 2 nights have clued me into what it is going to entail and I would have nothing else. We may be in spring, but summer weather is already starting. Hot and humid days the last week. Sunday and last night Rosie pulled Russ out about 7ish. She got off him about 10ish. When she rides at night down at the ring I "Have" to be down there with her. Well, technically I do not, but my 15 year old is not going to be down at the ring by herself at night. Insert protective momma here. Besides my time with the chickens, these quiet evenings spent are a blessing and relaxing after dealing with grandma all day.

4 weeks old yesterday and I have about a week of starter feed. But I ordered another small bag and will sprinkle in the adult pellets. I think I will be all set now with what I have.

If there were a nexguard for people I would gladly take it faithfully. I cannot stand them and see one and my skin crawls for hours. They do not have to be on me for it to happen. There is lyme in our general area. They reccomend if one actually bites you to remove it and freeze it incase it needs to be sent off to test. So far thankfully none have actually bitten us yet this year, found them on us still crawling.

Someone got her way. Grandma set her Sunday evening. 12 eggs. This time around she went through and picked out silkie eggs, 3 cochin eggs and Perdita's eggs.
You win this time Raven.
