Make sure they get enough Selenium and Vit. E, too.

You need a covered walkway! What has happened that they have exploded that much?
Mild winter, so not much die off....and now a full week of quite warm weather...they are literally 'coming out of he woodwork'!

I am trying to reverse engineer 'agitating' in my mind. But I am failing.
I do have a white chicken to share however.

I have corrected it. The word should have been "situations". Don't ask me how the phone did that.

These were the pictures I took of them yesterday. 2 of them have smaller combs then the others. You are right, they may all end up flopping and that 2 of them are just slower developing. In another month or two I may be able to finally for sure tell them all apart and they can no longer all be Peep. Until then, it is still Peep 1, Peep 2 and so on.

One of them also squatted and allowed none other then Twig to breed her yesterday evening. This is the first time I had saw them allowing any attention from the boys so that first egg is really not that far away. Twig is proving to be popular these days.
Good old Twig. She chose wisely.

Those lovely combs all have a ways to go yet. They look big but they are likely only 1/2 way there at best. I agree, 2 of them seen to be a little slower than the others.
