No harm but wry neck is actually quite rare. Is there any chance it might have injured itself somehow? Back injuries can present similar to wry neck.

I actually never heard of wry neck in chickens. Must read up on it.

FYI - in humans it can be caused by a virus - my cousin had it once, very painful she said. Must read up on that also.... how a virus in a human can cause wry neck...
