Wow! Somehow i made myself a target. I guess I better read this 11 pages that got added since 4:00

I just checked the camera that looks to the main roost to make sure Bernie and Babs were roosting OK.

What I saw instead took me by surprise.

Basically the littles have all lined up on a roost opposite the bigs. I wonder if they will stay there all night. Probably not - but it is cute!

Ohhh the tween time for these chicks is coming up fast lol and Their baby fuzz is an entirely different color then their feathers will be, I have a feeling that will look mmm should we say.. interesting for a bit taking all the pics I can now! Got these this evening they are to dark but still so cute

They sure have integrated well.

I don't think they have really integrated yet. The babies spend most of their time in and around their brooder box. They scamper around the fire escape and when the big ladies are out foraging they fly around the Chicken Palace. But mostly they steer clear of the bigs.
I am starting to scatter scratch around the edges of the fire escape so they start getting used to snacking together.
I am basically letting them set their own timetable. So far they seem roughly on track to the milestones when I integrated the Roadrunners.

I was catching up at lunch time, got sidetracked into conversations in the break room (around 5 pages behind), and came home to discover I was 15+ pages behind. Put the pot on for pasta and sat down to work on catching up while waiting for it to boil...........caught up....forgot to turn the pot ON.....
