Sylvie says she is willing to concede her leadership place in the bad hair day competition because her feathers are in and she thinks she is beautiful. I agree!

I’m experiencing an incredible headache, and Jaffar has crowed enough for me. He’s out, and Dakota is in. (She doesn’t crow) but she did want to come in the house. So, as long as she is quiet, she can stay.

With no Momma hens but me, chaos has taken over the Chicken Palace. I have officially given up trying to manage anything - the Pentagonists (so aptly named by @bgmathteach) do not understand the meaning of barriers. They have discovered a whole wide world and they are making the most of it!

Everyone went bonkers here - the Tweens tried to escape through the netting, I was trying to chase them back but then the newbies were stampeding towards us, the mamas were beating the crap out of them, they were all running for the netting also, of course the horses are in that paddock.

Well I ended up yelling at them all to get them to GO HOME! Which of course they didn’t, Anywhoo I finally got them all back inside the run and I told them all like Mnt Poopmore, there was not going to be anymore out on the range for them.

A milestone, one of the newbies caught and ate a bug yay! It’s a whole new experience for them hahaha.

And also realized that the chick with the 5 toes may also be a Dorothy baby! Silly me to forget that! I hate not knowing who’s chick is who’s….

Yah, they are around somewhere. I’m spending some time with Jaffar today.
I have a headache for some reason, and Jaffar’s crowing isn’t helping me much.
