Wow. Thank you! Seems like you know a thing or two. Did your chickens teach you that? They are probably on Beakbook all the day.
Josey looked like she had AirPods in her ear all the time at one point.

Very lovely. Fable looks like she has a topknot. Or is that just the breeze?
It is fascinating to see how their color changes.
I am seeing with Sylvie that she changes every day - much more gray than before.

She is really turning into a 'high brow fashionista'! 🥰 🥰

English Jubilee Orpington :) Like BYBobs beautiful LF ❤️

Took some individual pictures today of the babies. Brownie was unhappy with the photo shoot so we had to be quick about it.

Wow, will they be gorgeous!

With Avalon - being more feathered - you can start to see some spangles and their coloring. Lovely. If I remember with @BY Bob 's Lady Featherington, each molt in her growing up stage she showed more spangles.❤️❤️❤️

One Roo out of 5 is a really good percentage - and next year you can offer Jubilee Orpington pullets! (You will just need to create a separate housing/run for them if you hatch more this year and get another Roo.)

@Ponypoor - I just noticed in this picture of Sylvie you can see the little spur bud on her right foot.
The breeder assured me she is a girl and Welbars can be sexed at hatch so I assume she is indeed female in spite of the spur buds.
I have a girl @Ponypoor that is just over 1 year old (April hatch), and has spurs between 3/4 and 1 in long. No, she doesn't crow, and yes, she lays beautiful brown speckled eggs!

Usually my girls grow spurs very slowly, and when they get older - not usually this young. But all chicks that I have ever had have that round 'bump' on their legs where a spur will grow if they ever grow one.

Good to know! Makes me feel better.
