hahaha that's what it looks like! too funny but he sure is a looker - eye candy :)

I can't wait to see in that case. I am still very surprised by her colour - not sure what I expected but not that...

Oh ya he is a Roo for sure - what a goof hahahaha - love it!

Oh she is grubby - Princess what happened to your snowy plumage!

Marie - has your exterminator come yet?
I called it off. It's too dangerous for both me and more importantly my animals.

Plus these guys need to sort out the bathroom, apparently there's a leaking sewerage pipe coming into my ceiling, wall and skirting board. If they send the pest control they'll claim they did enough work here and I don't need 💩 and mold in my home, it's stinks.

I don't fancy eating that mushroom that's for sure

Here we are at a week old +/- a day and I'm getting impatient to see the first round of feathers. I did see shoulder pins starting on (I think) the feather footed one last night.

The "Fabio" shake is something I've seen on every single one of my boys and I never get tired of it. Hens can do it too, but it NEVER looks the same. (Sort of like a medium pixie cut trying to shake the hair like Fabio :gig )

Should be back at the in-laws this weekend. I'll have the opportunity to see how the others are growing and the ones that have hatched under the broodies. The co-broody pair is a very interesting mix. One is a jersey giant. The other is none other than one of the Cheetah x Thing girls. one of theseView attachment 3529729With the size difference (she's the same size as Lark and Indigo: smaller than Cheetah) should be fun to watch the mamas.
I will wait in anticipation to see those photos :)

No. Your correct thats a different chick. I have my eye on 3 total to be boys including Lore. Two, I am fairly sure are pullets so far.

I refuse to say boy till I see pink though 😂 so far Lore is the only one with the clear undeniable pink. Ill continue to delude myself until I can not anymore.

English Orpington’s can be a tad tricky to sex from what I read. Not silky hard or anything but they are just quite slow to mature. At this point they could conceivably still all end up be being boys.
Until I see an egg, they are She. unless like Mr Rico they are over achievers...
Happy Monday.
Mugshot series from Eli.

Love those darts of colour in her feathers - they is more what I though Martina would be like. - and look at her shimmering!

I’m risking pain to go get it.
Ohhh darn it! This really hurts. I don’t want you people to worry about me, I just am telling you what is happening right now. I’m using voice activation for this texting, Henrietta is by my side and she’s not feeling well either. I’m laying on the heating pad. I’m thinking of calling Paul, to come and take care of the animals for me this morning. I must have slept wrong last night. I’m not old enough for this kind of ache and pain! Maybe I am.

Absolutely AWESOME! that is great :) He is such a pretty boy - your Dad must be thrilled - tell him GOOD JOB - The best classes are those you just enter for fun, and end up getting a ribbon in!

Why doesn't he geld him if he isn't going to breed him? rather cruel to keep a stud horse that can't be turn out with the herd (I know I had a few in my day).
I hope you didn't think me rude to say that - I had my share of stud horss and they are a pain in the patootie, even my 'push-button' stallion' who was a kid-horse babysitter was a pain, he had to be housed separately, I could turn weanling colts out with him, but once the weanlings became mature he would put the run on them.
