Drove up to Orillia to Rama casino to have lunch with mum, she is somewhere getting her buffet, I am on the internet checking chickens hahahaha.

Everyone is behaving it looks. But the internet is very slooooow.

Ok need to eat and head home get some work done, can't be sitting here all day. I have chickies wanting to break free!!!

Its so funny to have 3 roo's out there I just have to make sure they don't fight. Zeus cocorico's then Hades then Hades son inside the coop cocorico's it's soooooo cute

I will never kill a rooster because its a boy. I would rather rehome them. I find that killing because of sex is barbaric. They didnt do anything wrong.
I have 5 roos all will live a happy live 2 of the silkies are roos.

You may need to do a roo coop then or your girls won't thank you. Also, if the boys really get into a fight, they can kill a hen who inadvertently gets between them due to being entirely focused on the opponent

I know all that, I have the roo's separate and they all have their own girls. And Im adding their own spaces/coops

Theres always a choice. Rehomeing isnt hard. If I were closer I would take them put them in the roo pen and re home them for her

Abigail is not happy. We cannot take on any more chooks, and it is hot here. So my siblings took the wooden eggs out of the nest. Abigail is trying to figure out what to do. I think she may stop being broody. Yesterday she was panting up there and everything. I feel sorry for her, but I would rather her not overheat up there or be sitting there for 21 days hatching wood. If she stayed, I would just get her some chicks.
