They are just inspecting the property - wouldn't you inspect an apartment before deciding to 'rent' it??These monsters ? I’m not sure if they are trainable or not! Total disregard for my own chooks property!View attachment 3539624
I've thought about it....but I have 2 more with feathered feet: Primula and Belladonna. I've also toyed with the idea of calling it Sasquatch, in spite of the fact that my sister's cat is named that. It's facial markings are the same as "clean leg"....maybe use Littlefoot for that one? Sorry, no Duckie, Petry, Spike, or Cera.... should save those for a group of 5.Have you thought about Featherfoot as the name for that little one? Every time you write it I hear it as it’s name!
I suspect they want to be as close as possible to the 'bigs' - without getting too close to get pecked/thrown off. That is kind of sweet. If they had an actual momma hen, they probably wouldn't have ventured up at night so quickly because they would have tucked under her...and she would have been calling them to bed with her if the didn't come on their own. My chicks ( 3 weeks - so a week older than yours) will perch on the roosts at times during the day, but all hop into the nest box with mom at night. They were back up in their chosen ledge this evening. Here's my solution.

If you go with Sasquatch, then I have 2 more names for you: Loch ( or lock) and Ness. Might as well go with a theme!I've thought about it....but I have 2 more with feathered feet: Primula and Belladonna. If nothing truly clicks before gender is firmly established, I may very well go with it.
Those aren’t the chicks are they? Those are adults…?These monsters ? I’m not sure if they are trainable or not! Total disregard for my own chooks property!View attachment 3539624
