It cannot be easy to control Lady Longshanks.

I have never tried.
I managed to get her to not pull the skin off my hand using the closed fist feeding technique. This works great until she has eaten what is in my closed fist (usually sunflower seeds) and then she starts on my knuckles.
I am thinking a stealth night maneuver with a pair of scissors might be better than a bath.

Get a bucket of water, a assistant, and something to dry them off. Dunk her butt in the water, pull the poop off gently, and repeat several times. You will need help to dry their butts.
I will warn you: You WILL fall out of favor of the Queen Aurora and her kingdom. She may require you to pay up in a thousand mealworms, a bag of purple corn, and the ability to trash your sofa and bed.

Empress Josephine has a open empire with outstretched wings. So long as you are nice to her she will be nice to you, unless someone else gets her mad. Then she takes her anger out on everyone.
