I don't know how many of the eggs are alive, and to give them back to her, I needed to roll them about a foot. I put them as close to her as possible, but it's hard to be on your hands and knees on bird crap.. plus three other bothersome brats who are wondering "what in the heckin' chickens is going on?"

If you have a cardboard box, open it up and lay it on top of the ground/bedding/chicken poop and crawl over to the eggs. I always have a few spare boxes just for that or for extra 'nest boxes' just in case!

Afterwards, it can go in the compost or recycling ( but scrape off the worst of the chicken poop first, before putting in the recycling bin!)

I'm just annoyed, because he always makes a big deal out of everything.
Plus he and my mother have been talking about splitting up and all of that....
But on the other hand, I am grateful, and I showed him that by talking everyone's head off about Willow, her (soon to be) chicks, and the other birds.

Oop, annoying parent talk tax:
All of the guinea eggs we found in out coop from while we were gone, and all of the infertile eggs that Willow was on.

I am so sorry Pastel! That must be hard for you!

Eh, kinda. The only reason it affects me at all, is because then we would need to sell the farm. That means I will lose all or most of the guineas and chickens. Maybe I could bring the hens, but not Pastel or any of my guineas, unless I tie their mouths shut...
