It was my own choice Bob. I wanted too, so I did it. No need to feel bad.No it wasn't. I still feel a little guilty about that. I hyped the experience up quite a bit. I'm truly sorry you did not get the experience I did.

Okay then this is the plan. In a couple days I'll slip her marked eggs. We'll see what happens.Remove the eggs. Keep the eggs stockpiled, out of the fridge on your counter, and when you get the 6 eggs (a good number for first timer) you want, put them all under her on the same day. This way they will hatch on the same day.
Make sure to mark them and remove any unmarked eggs daily.
Is there a fire ban? Can you call the authorities?snap snap crackle snap crackle
You have got to be kidding me!! I cannot believe it!!
The Neighbour is out there with a bonfire going! Unbelievable! With the drought conditions we have had, and all that dry underbrush under his rootin tootin trees!
And in the evening! He darn well better make sure that fire is OUT before he goes to bed tonight or I will be fit to be tied. He is burning it right near the tree line on the way to my barn!
I guess I won’t be getting any sleep tonight!
Why are people such idiots? This guy has in the past burnt crap during droughts - he has no common sense at all.

I'm working on it@Ponypoor, @RoyalChick, @BY Bob, and anyone else who gave me information or instructions on BBQ's bumblefoot.
I talked to my dad about taking her to the vet. He immediately said no.
"But, I don't think that I can do it. I would feel so bad."
"Figure it out, Pastel. Your better at this stuff than anyone else in the family."
He is right though. I do well with blood.
That's how I was able to kill meat birds, de-gut them, and not cry, or vomit.
I'm going to need to get tools. I am going to bring her onto my porch tomorrow, if possible.
I need lists of stuff I need. Please.
Oh, I put ACTUAL Pastel back with the girls. He was so happy. He has been in his own pen for about three weeks now. He could still see the girls, don't worry.
Shenandoah laid her egg then went away.
Had to run out to the barn literally, I checked the hen house cam and guess who was up on the ledge acting all grown up?? No other than two of the silkie chicks! Oh don’t jump was my thought seeing them up there…. And I ran to the barn (remember me saying my hip was sore? Running is very painful!), and quietly slipped into the barn and into the hen house and there were both the dark chicks up there! No. It is a good post giving specific guidance to @Pastel The Rooster on treating her hen.
That said, I don’t think anyone would complain if you had some nice pictures to post!
Tax talk tax: little Sylvie has no business exploring over there.

Here is a bumblefoot video. It's not too bad. You will need someone to help. Before you do anything I would love to see a clear photo of the injured foot.@Ponypoor, @RoyalChick, @BY Bob, and anyone else who gave me information or instructions on BBQ's bumblefoot.
