When I got my pups from the shelter, we were told that they were Rottweilers mixed with Border Collie. The one who looks like a rottie, is 45 pounds. We did a DNA test on her, and she has about every breed of dog in her, except rottie and border collie. And they are littermates.... the other one is 60 pounds. We wanted big dogs, and we got little ones.In my defense, a Rottweiler would do a good job on a raccoon too!!
Come on people think, and then look real close. Final hint, what is today on this thread?Broody hen with eggs??
Thank you. I have some here I can use. I do hope they use this quality sand though, or it's a waste of money and the oyster shell will help Tina.Just regular sand from a builder’s merchant. The kind they use to mix with cement to make concrete.
Here we call it ‘coarse washed all-purpose sand’. It costs about $6 for 50lb.
I think play sand is too fine for the chickens and somewhere I read it is made of something that isn’t ideal for chickens but I can’t remember the details.
I have never had parrots so I don’t know what sand they use, and I am not sure why they add oyster shell. Is the idea that they eat the oyster shell? That might be good!
I looked on the Jewson website (the only building supply place I know in the UK) and they call it ‘sharp concreting sand’ or ‘grit sand’ (£5.34 for a ‘handy bag’ of unspecified size). They also have something called ‘building sand’ but that is for bricklaying and looks too fine.

Ok my eagle eyed friends. Tell me what you see.
There we go. Now, got to get my dishwater ran. I'll give you all about 10 minutes to guess who else is in the picture with Blueberry before I post the reveal. Is she sitting on another chicken?
Yes. I think she is. I thought is was a baby. But maybe it isn’t a baby. You can definitely see a part of another chicken. I thought it was a baby beak just poking out.Is she sitting on another chicken?
Okay, I'm going to need a list of all your chickens, and I'll be good to go!There we go. Now, got to get my dishwater ran. I'll give you all about 10 minutes to guess who else is in the picture with Blueberry before I post the reveal.
