You know I was at a horse show in Kentucky Horse Park once and I was chatting with these people when the one guy said 'you're from Canada aren't you'....

Surprised I said, yes I am.

He said 'I knew because your use 'eh' after ever sentence'

Ever since then I have been very self conscious of my use of 'eh'

know what I mean, eh?

Sorrythat I wasnt here the last day or two-
Yesterday I needed to run my dog to the ER because he couldn't lay down and had immense uncomfort in his stomach area. He ended up having Food Bloat because he ate 8 meals, and because he eats to fast. I have no idea how he got eight meals...
I was up until 4AM with him at the ER, and I was hardly tired while we were there.

Then while I was asleep this morning, I guess an egg in my incubator exploded, and so my mom needed to throw the rest of the eggs out. I'm really bummed out.

I'm going to try to catch up here, just may take a little.
Sorry you lost the chicks. Glad your dog is doing better.

So if Fonzie was Canadian, would he say
“AAAAAYYYYYYYY, eh”

Little Grey has been such a sweetie pie, I guess I will just have to keep her. She always wants to be near me, sitting on my head usually! Not sure how that's going to work when she is 4+lbs!

What does that bring me up to now?

+ Little Grey

+ maybe one of those new chicks....
+ maybe one of the silkies

Day-am - I am going to need to win that lottery SOON like tonight! Mama is gonna need a new barn!

I am watching a friends chickens this weekend! I gave her one of my roosters, Pumpkin last year. He is very healthy and almost half of her flock are his cockerels and he has a few pullets.
Pumpkin is Pastel and Splotches younger (half) brother. One of Pumpkin's cockerels looks JUST like Pastel. I will certainly get some pictures.
I need to be careful with Pumpkin because he is very aggressive. I was able to catch him yesterday when they were showing us where the waters and whatever are. He started crowing in my arms. He is a very interesting boy.
There are a bunch of cockerels, but they are all sweet so far. Most of her hens are good, but one is broody. And every single one of her hens eats eggs 😳
On my way there right now, so I will see if I can get some pictures of those chickens. She also has a stunning black cockerel with purple and green feathers, and slight golden lacing. He must be a mix of their GLW and Pumpkin.
Alright, I'll be there in a little. There was a fatal crash earlier, so there may be some traffic because they were rerouting people.
I have an orange cock called Pumpkin too. He isn't aggressive though.
I also had a cockerel called Thunder (I gave him away yesterday) that is black, with purple, green and blue iridescent feathers. With gold feathers on his neck, head, in a few other places including hackle and saddle feathers. Very nice looking cock. :)

Poor Willow - well she will get over it - soon hopefully !

Make sure you take some time today to make sure BBQ's foot is ok - don't want it getting bad again.

OK I am going to see if I can mow the grass before the rain starts here - it's stinking humid so I know we are in for another crazy weather afternoon/evening likely with more tornado warnings.
It's all thundering here, and getting cloudy. It was sunny earlier.
