Go for it 😊 and have a piece for me too haha.

Last year I couldn’t keep up with eggs, this year no one wants them!

I am going to put a sign at the end of the driveway. I also cannot sell at farmers markets, or sell to someone who resells. I would really hate to waste the eggs.
Can you sell baked goods? I have lots of recipes that will use up a dozen eggs in no time at all and you can charge more for the value added of baking!

I see all over facebook that people set up egg stands and rely on the honor system. It is a great idea. One I would be tempted to try if not for thieves. If my neighbors daughters broken bike gets stolen out of her yard in broad daylight I do not trust setting up a egg stand. I will give them away first. I have been tempted at times to stick up a "fresh eggs for sale" sign though on the stop sign. Our road gets so much traffic it could potentially be a good idea.
People around me put up signs that say 'Honey' and 'eggs' and even 'Produce' - the 'for sale' is assumed I guess and it may be less in your face if it isn't fully OK to sell.
Mostly they have a stand at the end of their driveway. Often it has a security camera and instructions for paying with Venmo or whatever.
The only problem with that is cell coverage is appalling around me so you often have to go for a little walk in order to be able to pay on line!
I think the cameras probably help encourage good behavior.
Then there are the slightly bigger farms that have a website and certain days you can book to come and buy at the farm gate - that is mainly for meat.
Farm stand tax - beautiful Sylvie is getting progressively darker - I don't think she realizes she has been carrying around a spent feather:

So glad you were able to get a Vet. And a mobile one at that what an awesome find.

My horse vet is like this, everything is in his truck. X-ray, meds, surgery. All done right here in my barn - so convenient. And he is only a few miles up the road so if I need special meds I just pop up and get it, or he drops it in my mailbox.

It’s wonderful she also has chickens and I think just amazing she is willing to teach you to do things. Now that is what an eggcellent vet is all about.

Tell me is your hen breathing any better? I only ask because I am dealing with my niece’s I’ll hen. I think she also has EYP or salpingitis. If so I want to get her to a vet to show me how to drain the fluid.
It looks so, slower and deeper. I'm afraid her belly feels bigger than yesterday now. The fluid from Peanut was a semi-clear yellow, indicating cancer / tumor, if it was murkier with stuff floating around it would have indicated EYP and infection. Something like that.

She actually walked back to the lilac bush this evening from the winter run. I was thinking she might have developed a paralysis because of how unstable and reluctant to move she's been. But she looked almost normal just now. The meds and food are helping.

Any improvement is good

And, she was fully alert and pretty bright-eyed, much improved over this afternoon. Almost went after a huge fly buzzing around, but decided against moving. Ate a lot of egg and especially sunflower seeds. So I think she's more comfortable, at least for the time being.
