I love chicken baths, broody baths more so. It's like a great for mom to be.See these chickens? They're feathered a-holes. View attachment 3573962
Both ladies laid in random spots on the floor. God forbid they use the nest boxes.
Eenie ventured out today while I was filling her water and food. While minding her own business at the waterer, Sheba gave her a viscous peck, followed by Manny chasing her about.I finally got them locked out before Meanie could join in.
Eenie relaxed and proceeded to have a little spa day. I suppose a expectant mom deserves a little pampering.
No problem! Someone would have to be completely insane not to kink so.Thanks! You are very kind to say so.
I got some cherries and the ones at the bottom of the bag were not so good.Techniques for Eating Cheese Balls
Hopefully @micstrachan doesn't see this post. She would be disappointed in me.
It has been forever but today the ladies got some cheese balls! I don't think Glynda and Lady Featherington have ever seen them before.
Two techniques for crushing the cheese ball were evident.
Here is the Spear
- The spear. This was perfected by Aurora. You spear the cheese ball with one part of your back and then crush it until it crumbles.
- The Flip and Smash. This was perfected by Sydney. You grab the cheese ball and flip your head smashing the cheese ball on the ground.

These two had to break them up for the others. One the ball was broken the other hens would steal pieces from them.
Mine got leftover angel hair pasta (a first for the littles). 3 made it over to join in.......and it was dart in, grab.....and Ruuuunnnnnnnnnnnn! The 3 that weren't quite brave enough to cross the mown grass joined in the pursuit, too. Reminded me of Smokey and the Bandit....I got some cherries and the ones at the bottom of the bag were not so good.
So I ate the ones at the top and gave the others to the Princesses.
There was one strategy deployed: grab a cherry and run for all you are worth away from every other chicken.
It was hilarious. I almost chocked on a cherry pit I was laughing so much!
Awesome intro! Beautiful chickens and chicksGood Morning fluffy butts and all!
Meet my chickens!
Whenever I give my guineas lettuce, they grab it, and get the zoomies away from everyone else.Mine got leftover angel hair pasta (a first for the littles). 3 made it over to join in.......and it was dart in, grab.....and Ruuuunnnnnnnnnnnn!
