I'd like to find someone wanting that many eggs. We get on average 15 a day and it won't be long before this year's hatchling girls starts laying regularly. We already get a few from them occasionally. Starting to think it won't be long before we get turkey eggs but I'm not sure at what age they begin laying.
Can you advertise down there?

My little champion came through really well. It was only a 45 minute operation, and there was only skin covering his tear duct, so no where nearly as bad as we thought. He has a nose drain in at the moment and his smitten daddy is about to take him to his home to recover. Along with the twenty pie cartoon I added here earlier.

I am so relieved. I hope to see him next month to spoil him rotten ❤️

Thanks for you support 🙏 I truly appreciated it
Excellent news!

Not me. I am praying I get at least 1 chick. I have agonized over my decision to let Perdita hatch them. She has done wonderfully so far.
I am so stoked about these eggs! If it wasn’t for the risk of getting Roos I would set some silkie and those Pavliskia chicken eggs.

There's a lot of backyard chickens here so there's plenty eggs available. Just in our immediate area is 3 other flocks. We share with our immediate neighbors to the west because they are nice and the old man is pretty much an invalid.
Oh yes thats right you already told me that - silly me - it’s either feast or famine here with eggs! Like the weather ha!

My niece's hens had some quality time outside since this morning, along with everyone else, I have had my exercise chasing Buttercup back into the chicken netting - she knows where all the holes are. And so do her Splash coloured chicks - no mistaking that they are NOT hers hahahaha.

I have everyone inside now, my niece is coming for dinner - likely the check up on how I am taking care of her hens! And I cracked my head on the top half of the dutch-door here in the barn, I had my ball-cap on and the brim blocked my view when I bent over to fill up some water from the hose - CRACK right on the front of my skull were the fontanelles are located on an infants skull, jarring my teeth and my neck. Yes there was a lot of swearing, then laughing because the chickens were all standing there looking at me with their heads craned looking at me.

Just waiting for me to keel over so they can be on me like maggots on rotten salt fish, pecking my eyes out!

Fluffy is just waiting I know it….
