I have Bobo in with me. She’s decided to perch on my head. Ouch! Long nails on her.. Moving her to the chickens room.
Then some first aid. What’s a few more scars? !!!

The limb survived the night. The rescue crew are here and putting on harnesses.
Their estimate of height of tree is 75-90 and of the broken limb just over 3’ in circumference.
Edited to correct size of limb.

I am going to owe a lot of tax. I can’t take any pictures now as the chickens are locked away for safety reasons while these crazy guys throw ropes up into the tree.
The chickens are giving a running commentary from their ring side seats.

I don’t know and I don’t care. If any roos cause trouble, they will be evicted (with extreme prejudice)!

It’s true that Jaffar is blind in his left eye. I have been testing him all morning. Poor guy misses 2 of 3 while pecking at his feed. I’m contacting the veterinary team to have him checked out. After all, he’s my buddy and my family. Yeah he’s cocorico this morning

Jaffar is here with me. One hour and then I will bring him back to his ladies.
I enjoy his company too!
