The image uploading is still infuriating as you can only upload one image at a time and I frequently need to upload two or three and I have to waste a whole minute tapping buttons on my phone to upload three photos when I should just be able to push a button and mass select them.
And yes, I wish the I would be auto capitalized on my computer too :lau
I don’t mass select but you can. I select three photos and they load, generally the first loads faster than the next, so they do complete one at a time…

How big (wide) does the mixing bowl need to be? Just enough to cover the hole they fly in and out of?

How long did it take to kill the nest?

:fl Oh man, I'd love it if it's this easy to deal with this nest! I can't go to the end of one of my raised beds because of these pests!

Big enough to cover the hole and some around it. I have a bread mixer bowl that’s clear, and a clear but amber salad bowl, both a large, about 10 - 12 inches. I don’t know how long it takes, because we’ve put it on and left it for a week, lol. It’s also possible they do get out, but if they do they change their nest location because they’re not around there after a week.

You suggested it. His name is Sherlock.

As requested, more pics.

He likes towels, in case you couldn't tell. Castor doesn'tlike him. But is starting to come around. Being in the kitchen for breakfast while Sherlock was stuck in the mud room may have helped. More time needed. Sherlock is also wary of the chickens. He wants to be by my side but is just learning how to go down steps. The stone stairs were a bit much with Whiskey keeping an eye on him. Sherlock went back in the house and cried while I fed the feathered horde.

The Invasion is the same age as Sherlock, I think. 9 weeks....lemme go check calendar, BRB.

Yes! Same age +/- a day. They're feeling grown up, too. They spent the night up on the high roost along side the adults. Jessica spent another night voluntarily off the nest, so I think she's decided being done being broody is a good thing.

Cardhu and a thunder cloud (profile on one or both of them is different, wondering if they'll pop throwback crests)

The other pair. Discovered yesterday there are 2 sets running around. Other set headed down while this pair went up.

Give him a few days for his personality to reveal itself! In the meantime, do you want a 'theme' to extend to the dog?
If so, Thunder, Nebula/Nebulas (dark clouds in space)
Mirk is the Celtic word for dark (not unlike our word 'murk' or murky.
faileas is the Scottish word for Shadow
Erebus Greek/Roman mythology word for 'deep darkness/shadow.

Other words for darkness

P.S. 'The 'Thing' is cute' :love Is it a black lab/part lab?
Why not Midnight? @rural mouse
