I am bawling my eyes out.
I did the first time I read Owly’s question and now again with Aurora’s lovely, kind and deeply philosophical answer.
It is good to remember that all of us, like Owly, has the chance to create great happiness and I hope Owly eats lots of spicy food to help her beard grow.
Hugs for Owly and @RebeccaBoyd, and much gratitude to Queen Aurora for helping us understand such important things in life.
And now I must take a break to deal with the rain from my eyes.

First Egg

Seems Topsy has given me a wee blue egg this morning, I would have bet money on Twister who has been squawking the past couple days. It’s a bit smaller than a Silkie egg.

Enjoying the morning, had some family friends drop in unexpectedly at 8am this morning on their way to their cottage, had fried eggs, homemade bread toasted, and a lovely visit, our friend tuned up mum’s guitar and played some tunes, now they are back on the way to their cottage

Now I am enjoying my cuppa tea with the chooks.

I'm so glad it resonated with you. It was not easy to write.

Empathy is an extremely hard thing to accomplish, but HRH Aurora has empathy in spades.

Being able to break down an emotion and explain it is not something that many can do; it has been my experience that to fully appreciate all the emotions One needs to have life’s a full and varied life.

Thank you for such amazing and wonderful stories and anecdotes. I cried for all I have lost and smiled at all I have treasured.
