I went back and re-read this post. You seem worried that THC might be detected in your body when tested. I can assure you that in my neighborhood, just being outside breathing, could register me a “dirty test” as they say. Such Crazy neighbor nonsense!

I was in Edmonton a few year ago waiting to catch a plane, and I was chatting with someone and we were laughing about the skunk that a plane must have run over on the runway. Another person chimed in saying 'oh that's the smell from the cannabis greenhouses next to the airport, the wind blows the smell over here - it was on the News'.

What?! I had to look it up and sure enough people were complaining about the skunky odour from the pot plant greenhouses hahaha - too funny - but totally disgusting - what a stink! Ya stink in more ways than one!

Maybe begin ankle/knee/thigh strengthening exercises as well? Do you normally jump around a lot / play a sport?
Not my cup of risk tea. If I had to do it I'd go double with an experienced jumper like Bush senior did. Let that sure-footed guy figure out the landing & take most of the impact.

I have 3 personal trainers here who keep me hopping all the time, and dodging and darting away from flying feet. Or rather hooves! Nothing like 3 crazy horses and some cool windy weather to keep you jumping!

Falling is something I just don't do - those chickens would be on me like flied on cow patties!

OMG - I don't think I would even be able to watch on video. As I age my fear of heights gets worse and worse. I can't even really describe it as 'fear' - it is a very physical thing - a bit like butterflies in the pit of the stomach but worse. I got a tinge of it even reading your post about it so I think I will have to just sit out the visual!
Good luck though - I could well be convinced it is an amazing experience.

Heights I don't have a fear off. Face plants though - yep those I have a fear of!

I can climb the ladder no problem but then my hips and sacrum are screaming in pain, but I am not afraid of the height bit. For me I don't really have fears so much as annoyances; and I hate being annoyed by things. But the older I get the less I give a rats rosy fluffy butt, instead of annoyance now, I have apathy...

My only exercise is dodging 15 dogs as they play. Seems they think they must play right at my feet. I'll probably jump in tamden when the time comes.

I saw that later you said what I was going to that the amount of THC if any absorbed they skin is unlikely to be significant.

Is it legal? like over-the-counter-no-prescription legal, in Canada?

Such a wonderful thing. My son and I have a complicated relationsip. I envy you. But, I still wouldn't jump out of a perfectly good airplane.

I am not afraid of heights. I quite enjoy them. I am, however, afraid of falling. So weird. Airplanes, skyscrapers, no problem...but I can't go down stairs without a handrail! Pretty sure skydiving would kill me even if the chute opened.

That fears gotten worse with age, but more with weight. I'm, sadly, a very big lady now and I find the fear of falling and my slight claustrophobia got worse as the scale went up.


So...in chicken news, the transfer to platform gets better every time. We went last night later than usual, and found Eenie and kids where we expected, but the other three were not snuggled, but spread out on the floor! Good thing I noticed the black splotch on the flooring the dim light or I'd have stepped on Sheba!

This morning all 3 were on the roosts. I may not spend money on a coop cam, but I think one of the husband's trail cams is going to have to be put into service for a night so I can see what they get up to!

It's very addictive watching them at night - like the time Marty launched herself off her shelf at 2am into the black void of the abyss, and me being 4,000km away and not able to do anything about it!

Or the bedtime drama - yep maybe not watch that! And my horses who escape regularly and go 'visiting' with the others. Or the raccoon who was seen sauntering up to the back door of the barn and climbed up the door into the barn - which had me scrambling into some clothes and bolting to the barn to check on things.

Yep I am truly addicted to having to see what's going on in the barn

I don't know of anyone else knows about Clucks of Joy, because it's awesome. I get a monthly box of chicken stuff and it always based on the month and the season! I just got this months box! I have pictures below. In every box they also have people treat! Like cookie cutters, stickers like I got, or even tea!!!

Sorry you are feeling poorly, I really am.

My mental state has been challenged lately (not my sanity) but mental state. Depression mixed with excitement and stress, is not fun either. The mind affects the body so to speak.

Sure hope you can get to your airshow and have some fun! Just take a deep breath and let it out slowly and enjoy your chickens - they are your friends who ask nothing more than some mealworms (or steak ha!).

Like chickens here - always under foot - like Lilion, I almost stepped on one of the chicks last night! Why must they be the colour of shavings in the dark???
