My other property might flood. The drainage system hasn’t been fixed yet. Gonna be lots of mud there I guess.
If the rivers crest, then for that property, I’m in trouble!

Wow they are so lovely! All those spots beautiful!

They are very very dotty indeed. I am smitten with the breed. The sheer volume of feathers is astounding and there are still more pins coming in. I will have to be very careful next summer to manage the heat. This winter though, I think they will generate enough warmth for everyone if they snuggle close enough

They are 16 weeks as of today. I am most impressed with the boys, no crowing at all, they are starting to tidbit and trying to look after the girls. No fighting between them, Lore took lead and Story is his second. They both seem content with this arrangement so far. They are polite and not pushy with any of the girls and only try and breed with the older girls.

Best of all though no signs of human aggression at all. They are also VERY food focused so I have been using that to reinforce that humans are good.

I was sitting on the grass today with my son with two young Roos wondering about and had no incidents at all.

So, I am cautiously optimistic about their future here.
