Ok! I will be sure to do that. I have also been looking into turningban old horse trailer into a coop. That way if we move the chickens can come with extremely easily! I'm mainly trying to sell my black copper maran roo so I'm thinking about selling him in bulk with the hens I'm not keeping do maybe like 300€ for him and 12 hens? What do you think, should I make it cheaper?

Do you have any pure Marans hens you can send with him? I had to convert that to us dollars which is $325.60. That is 25 per animal. I do not know what the demand is in your country for laying hens. Going by my area that is a very fair price. If those hens are around a year old or younger, it is actually too cheap. If I had them to sell, I could sell started laying pullets for 30 to 40 each, and that is barnyard mixes. If I had a pure Marans started laying pullet she could go for 50 to 60. Silkies, if it is a hen, no matter the age right now I am looking at 50 plus for a single hen. If it were me, I would stand firm on your price. Also be firm on the rooster going with them for that price. I hate to see you have to sell members of your flock. I also hate that you have to sell your Marans boy. Marans are dear to me and I love my Marans boy Bubba.

Well Bubba just did something out of character for him a bit ago. He and 3 of the girls were eating when Gracie was let out to potty. As she walked by he spurred her in the butt. It surprised Gracie and she just gave him a look as she walked away. I am going to have to pay more attention to his and the dogs interactions now. I hope this was just a one time incident. I am afraid though the recent coyote and then stray dog attack has installed a distrust in dogs in him. I do not want him going after Gracie and CeeCee, but in truth it might not be a bad thing if he behaved this way in the future to any stray dogs that come in the neighborhood.

No. It just becomes mulch on the ground.

Phyllis has a professional photo shoot scheduled for Saturday so she cannot be bothered with posing for a pedestrian amateur photo.
