Oh those sweet silkie hens. While not entirely black they are close enough. Ok, need to go hug my boy Branch and shed a few more tears as I am now without a silkie hen. If their personalities are anything like those in the states you will love them. Silkies are both sweet and sassy wrapped up into one fuzzy tiny package.

They sure seem to be sweet, Eda my broody hen is their foster mom and she only has one egg after all her other one cracked and broke! She loves them and they are all so sweet together.

I put them both into the garden then they went out the back again for some cooked food and layers
