Meanwhile I can’t wait to see the Brahmas - are they dark or light? What colour eggs will they lay?

Primula and Belladonna are dark brahmas.

Next spring would be Colombian wyandotte mixes....maybe....from FIL's place.

And Pear is out amongst assorted groups. I saw several stare downs.

With Havoc and Tuff. She's really getting around, so looking good for Queen, but I'm not ready to state that with certainty. Need to observe the others some too.

Oh that’s a nice colour - pinkish it looks like.

Would Pear be your choice ? I guess as long as peace is maintained in the flock it should be a good thing.

Poor Quartz - did you get a chance to inspect his leg? He is really lame it looks, it amazes me they don’t get more injuries they way they are always jumping and flapping around. I just try not to look anymore!
