Pony Sunday, plus some chickens

Here's the neighbor's horses / ponies. The people haven't been out when we've been by to talk to yet. The two large ones came over and the rust colored one put its nose and neck out so I pet her. I think it's a mare....she might be the first one they got and the young girl's horse. Then she moved it's nose in closer, next to my neck, and stayed there for a minute. Smelling my sweaty neck? I do like how horses smell. The dappled small horse didn't come over. That's the newest one here I think.

The little pony-type one looked wet from rolling in mud! Or chicken poop!

They have a bunch of chickens! 😊

Ponies are so cute, an can be very saucy! The red horse is a chestnut, the yellow one is a palomino 💕 yes horses smell great - though I hate the smell of horse sweat, sweaty horses make me all panicked as I had an extremely traumatic incident long ago with one of my horses - she had to be euthanized. Ok done thinking about it.

Maybe you can do the chicken talk thing with your neighbour - maybe they are kindred spirits for chickens 😊❤️

It’s still debated whether Hershey Pennsylvania is part of the United States or not. :old It’s on that list with Texas and New Jersey!
(Come on, I’m kidding)
Anything that is chocolate related is definitely Newfoundland territory, everyone knows that!

She said “Watch this, I will make my human nervous!”
I almost trod on her I was coming down the ladder! I was more worried about falling and breaking a hip!!!

Then I saw who it was 😳😳😳

Edit:

Ok all I am heading to bed I am very achy as I am not taking my pain meds at the moment, and today I throw down and stacked 50 bales of hay (farting bales were falling apart as the strings were loose so I had to be very careful handling them), got 5 bags of horse feed and two bags of chickens feed, and 15 bales of shavings which I swear weighed 70lbs each. Plus do regular chores… my sacrum and hips are screaming agony.

And I am pee’d off with Rico - attacking people is a huge no no.

Rabbits do that all the time-- he hears the camera, you, or whatever is taking that video. However he's not quite sure so his ears keep flicking back and forth. It's natural instinct to listen for things that could be dangerous.

Good luck with your friend the bunny :)
Yes I know - but still cool to see.
The one thing he wasn't listening to was me as I was tucked up in bed at the time.
But I am sure he could hear the foxes, the ground hog, the deer, the opossum, and the family of raccoons who are all in the area!

Yes, I know, the clothing & shoes part is particularly tough. I’ve been dealing with each group with different clothes, but right now, both groups are outside, the chicks in their fenced-off area and the Bigs roaming everywhere else. I’m checking on both, so tracking whatever, everywhere. I’m washing my hands but not changing outfits to go from the front of the house to the back and around the barn. Not letting the chicks on my pants for now, but later, with different pants, after they’re inside and I’ve had a shower. But one stood on my shoes. My goal at best can be to minimize the load.
As I said, do the best you can. There is no way you will be perfect.

Now tell me how much I should be worried with this one! Thankfully I didn’t haul the loft stairs out all the way! I may have been moving more than 50 bales of hay today if she got up there!

IAM basically too lazy to haul the stairs out all the way, I just haul them out enough I can use them as a ladder!
Yup. That a flyer. You should be worried. 😄
