I don’t see the resemblance clearly:
Can I do a mug shot? This is Anthony.. and in this pic he kinda looks like Trump. Not my old roo TRUMP but the real Trump… in his mug shot🤣View attachment 3622046
It’s kinda funny that I have another rooster that looks like Trump🤔🤣❤️

You should have heard my mum putting the chooks to bed tonight, it was hilarious! I was busy doing online safety training so I didn’t help at all, but it sure was hard not to help!

There was a lot of f bombs and ‘no no no no no, stop, go in there, not you, you, stop it….’ Hahaha. Poor mum 😁
Then she started counting them 😆 more swearing…

Took her 20 min to get them to bed!
Why not just let them settle, then go out and head count/close up?

I had to go back and look at your original Trump as well as Clementine and of course, Claudine :love :love
All three were really cute little babies.
You should know that it was Claudine :love:love who started me on this obsession I have now with black chickens. I just think they are so beautiful!

Let us take time out today to celebrate Bunny's hatchday. She is 3 today and was from Holly's first ever clutch. Happy birthday sweet girl. I have some steak fried rice to sneak out to you later on when no one is looking.

Happy mugs monday as well from the only girl who has ever been allowed to hatch in the house. On the couch no less.

:frowHappy belated Hatch Day, Bunny!

Your hooman won't like this, but you look quite regal on the couch....like you belong there and can rule/lord over your puppy pad space :) :love

shhhh...don't tell your hooman I said this, but if you are thinking about going broody.... grandma is the ticket to the house!!!! :thumbsup:thumbsup

I seen that too! I got one but shes recovering from a fox attack on my watch early one morning. Yea, shes a limper for life it seems, but maybe she'll keep doing better and better? Cant scratch or jump or roost 😖 She gets around well enough tho.
I'm building her, her own coop for her and her flock mate 🐓❤️ No sad faces around here!

Cake started limping yesterday. I checked her over and didn’t see anything out of the ordinary 🤷🏼‍♀️ I am going to wait a day or so or I may put her in a place of her own so she doesn’t have to move around as much. Hopefully it is just a sprain 🤞🏻
It is worrying but many times nothing serious is wrong. That's why I waited to see I needed to intervene with Hattie.

What's with all this limping stuff going around? Several birds are having trouble with that here on BYC lately?
In my case, old age.

I do wish Hattie had raised chicks. I think she would have been a splendid mum.

No broodies here this year. It seems Phyllis is no longer interested.

I wonder if they could do an operation to correct such a defect or not? I wonder what the cost would be? ( I wonder a lot of things ) :idunno
IF I had access to an avian vet, they probably could....but I am sure it would be very painful....both to her and my bank account. Like probably 3+K, if surgery on my cat 9 years ago was any indication. Unfortunately, I do not have access to an avian vet, nor do I have the finances atm for that - since hubby and I bought an 'us house' that still needs much work.:(
