Took Xzit from the coop for medication, and Jaffar threw a fit! Wow did he squawk some pretty ugly things to me! Then he Cocorico all the time I had Xzit inside the house. Gezz what a grouch!

Why not just let them settle, then go out and head count/close up?

It cracks me up because my chickens do yell at me and its funny but its like,'Hey, i know the back of the hen house is open, and I'm sorry that upsets you. I didnt forget, i got distracted! Go calm your ruffled feathers! Jeeesh!!!! I close it, shes calm again. Such little tattletails too! Who needs enemies when you got flock maté's tattling all the time? I love every minute.

The poor unsuspecting boys have their dental visit in about 30 minutes. I will have to have pictures later of some drugged up pony's.

I can laugh I have had my horses teeth floated many many times! Does your vet do the power tool float? Or the manual file?

Both boys had the power tool float done. Russ does not have a broken tooth that needs pulled. Once he was able to get a really good look, what they thought was a broken tooth turned out to be he has a few back teeth missing and food was packed in that spot. Russ had some very sharp points filed down and 3 canine teeth rounded off. Dirt had 1 sharp point that needed filed. Rosie can ride him tomorrow after school. Technically she could ride this evening but she still has some make-up work she has to finish tonight from missing school last week.

Do they follow you around everywhere you go? Do they want to jump in your lap and dig in your pockets? Mine do that all the time.
When I go to town and buy a Subway sandwich, they are all waiting at the gate when I get home. Somehow they know I went to get a sandwich.

they like the 9 grain wheat, spinach and pepperoni.
