Wasn't expecting to see the moon tonight as it clouded up with Thunder grumblers shortly before dark. 230am, woke up, so bathroom, then took Sherlock out (helps with house breaking). Took these.

Zoomed in a bitView attachment 3623124Night time mode wouldn't allow zoom inView attachment 3623125This was in night time mode, took a full 10 sec of holding camera still to take the shot (cars make great tripods).

Listened to the night for a bit. Now going back to bed.
Those are great! Thanks for sharing.

The light drizzle that was forecast turned into a complete deluge while I was checking on feed and water.
So I have pulled up a tree stump inside the Chicken Palace to take shelter.
I am in good company. I love it when they are all peacefully together.
🥰

@knoturavggrl - probably too late for you to read this before hand, but I will have you in my thoughts today - and pray all goes well!:fl🙏:fl

And, I know it will be vary hard - but try this long weekend to enjoy life (kids/family and the chooks) and do something relaxing, but enjoyable - even if it is just laying in a lounge chair in the yard watching Chicken TV.🧘‍♀️:hugs❤️:hugs

Try to forget about results of the biopsy - worrying about it will not make the results come quicker, and stressing about it won't change the outcome - so again - as much as you are physically able to post surgery, try to take the long weekend to relax and enjoy doing nothing but enjoying family (animals included) and peaceful pastimes.
Not to late, my surgery is very early tomorrow morning ❤️ Thank you and everyone else here for all the good thought and wishes, solid advice, and caring so much 🤗

We have a category 4 hurricane making landfall in FL right now. Does that count?
I think that's definitely worse!!! Sorry you have to deal with that! Here it's all of the horrible rain and thunder. I'm are at risk of large mud slides sense I live in a valley and it's kinda like a big bowl. Lucky nothing like that has happened, but the lighting had taken down some of the larger trees and they start tumbling down the valley destroying anything in it's path. I think I'm probably making it sound more dramatic than it actually is but I'm glad I don't have to deal with a category 4 hurricane!

Rosie update.
When I took Rosie to the doctor Friday she was given a respiratory panel test. Her doctor was confident what we were dealing with was Rhinovirus and bronchitis. His words and I quote, "I have done a 1000 of these tests in the last 2 weeks, not 1 covid, all Rhinovirus". He told me if the hospital they sent the test to did not contact me by 3 Saturday she did NOT have covid. Rosie was sick, really sick, but I did not think covid as this mirrored the previous cases of Rhino she has had in the last 2 years. Monday rolls around, did not hear from the hospital so as instructed sent her back to school. She is not 100% over it, but had received both a antibiotic and steroid shot Friday, and started a z-pack Saturday so been on antibiotics several days. During this Sunday evening dad got sick again. Ok Rhino, highly contagious and figured it would get passed around. Monday afternoon it hits Mom like a ton of bricks and yesterday Grandma gets sick. At this point I am ready to start snorting clorox *kidding, I swear, although I am bleaching everything like crazy*. 5 yesterday evening her doctor calls me. He wanted to check to see how she was doing. I immediately thought that was odd but told him she was improving. Then he drops the bomb and wanted to confirm I had talked to the hospital. Umm....nope, nothing, why? He then goes, well my nurses called you yesterday? Again no. Well he is now angry, but goes on to tell me that Rosie in fact tested positive for both covid and rhinovirus. He was calling to let me know that he was adding on another round of antibiotics for her to take starting tomorrow when the z-pack is finished. Ok, I let a few curse words out and then informed him I had already sent her back to school, did I screw up. Nope, the new protocol for the school system is 5 days out from the onset of symptoms as long as they had been without a fever for 24 hours which she was. After I hung up with her doctor I go inform mom and she takes a at home covid test. The very same test that I had done twice with Rosie and got negative results on before she went to the doctor. Positive, strong positive. Wonderful, and now we are assuming covid is also what grandma and dad have as well. It is now just me, and my brother and his girlfriend who are not sick. They have to work as long as they do not get sick and have been essentially quarantining themselves to his room when home. I do not blame them, and thankfully picking up groceries or medicine as needed. What it really comes down to is I have 4 family members down and as the only healthy one at the moment it is all falling on me. I thought I was going to have to be up all night to listen for grandma but dad could not sleep so he told me to go to bed. If she needed something he could get it for her. He lasted until 5 this morning so I am very thankful for that. Please pray everyone that I do not come down with this as well. I am hoping my renewed obsession with bleach will help me out.

Ugh!
Hope you stay well and everyone else gets well soon.
Good stuff bleach! Also Lysol.
Do you have a pack of those wipes. They are great to have at hand for wiping door knobs, faucet handles, hands etc.!
