Hello everyone.

I am thankful to say everyone is on the mend or recovered and thankfully I seem to have avoided coming down with the plague so far. A few days ago we celebrated Bunny's 3rd hatchday. In that celebration I carelessly made a statement that this year she was behaving and had not gone broody once. It was pointed out to me that I was stupidly tempting fate. I AM A IDIOT. Karma is a witch let me tell you. I was already dealing with breaking up a stubborn Holly. The very next day when it is time to pack a determined Holly to the coop from her nest I find not one, but 3 hens shrieking at me. Holly, Bunny AND Raven of all hens are fighting over the same nest with the same idea. What the crap is Raven thinking? She just let go of her chicks not even 3 weeks ago. She JUST secured her top spot as queen of the flock. Now she wants to hatch chicks AGAIN? When I end up having a nervous breakdown let it be known, I found another broody hen.

I could pull my old straight jacket out of the closet for you?

Will Pastel be okay with them? They are going right under Willow. I’m worried that he might hurt them. Will they be okay with a huge roo?

Should be fine if Willow takes them. She will beat him up for looking at them.

Based upon the reddish tone on the chick: Rhode Island, new Hampshire, production reds, EE without beard, red sex link....some other options, but some ideas
