Littles are 6 weeks, and still kept close to mama.

So I was making a coffee this morning and I was taking a sip when I realized I used the creamer that I forgot went bad like a week ago. My mouth is in unimaginable discomfort

I hope you get some activated charcoal in you ASAP. It's saved me countless times

It's really hot here.

I've started making the girls feed the night before mixing it with sunflower and flaxseeds then adding filtered water and putting it in the fridge overnight. The last fermented food I made went off the next morning it stunk. So they are getting a nice cold crumble with dry layers and cold water from the Fridge..
They really enjoyed their kiwi fruit and Brazil nuts.

Also in news my side of things, mum found Tuff passed away this morning, we knew it was going to happen, she was old for a production breed at 5. My BIL came down and buried her in the paddock by the fence we’re she enjoyed hunting for bugs and such

Every single chicken that lives or has lived with you are very lucky indeed. That goes for all of the animals you have cared for

.

Other than that everyone is good, horses too. Mum is managing fine but tells me that horses are way easier to take care of then chickens. I did remind her that they were like 2 yr old kids.

Work is busy, lots of driving between sites; today I found an awesome farmers market which will be my new grocery shopping place, it’s close to my Air BnB.

No way we would each bathe in our own barrel. Pied beau and petit blanc.

Laure and Annette. Color genetics is a mistery to me because all the possible mums are plain black or brown and the daddy is silver.

Pied beau’s foot. It's much less noticeable now as when he was a chick but you can see only the middle finger has a yellow nail while the other two are black.
