Is Peep a hen? I think so, but I want to make sure.

Peep wants to warn you that Beakbook is ready to attack if you don't listen to your rooster when he asks you too.

More pictures of Peep please, and her sister. Actually I encourage all my fluffy butt friends who have silkie hens to post their pictures a little bit more. I still feel so lost without having a silkie hen running around. I am very thankful I have my beloved Branch with me but it does not feel complete.

Peep is young right? Silkies are notoriously hard to sex. Some you have to wait until they either crow or lay a egg. That being said, from the head shots, I do not see streamers so she looks like a hen. A full body picture would help, and one of her butt and tail feathers.

Oh no... maybe it's time...for a BBQ 😅
This BBQ?

She is having MAJOR feather and skin/ lice problems. I have her of Nutrena Feather Fixer food. Splotch is also starting to have some feather problems. She’s happy. That’s my biggest concern. She wants to live. She’s just having major problems and it makes me sad.

PS. Pastel and Splotch’s hatch day is September 13th. I might make a thread for them. Two years old already!

Sure!!! Anytime you want I can give you a photo of them two! I'm so sorry you lost your hen, I almost feel like crying anytime I see white Orpingtons as they remind me so much of my hen Fluffbum who was taken by a cat 😭

Here are all the photos I got today, it actually almost 10pm lol, I've been baking a lot today! I'm also trying to introduce them into the flock!

The guineas use to be bad for flying the fence but even moreso are the rascals, they can fly like quail. I got them trained, or vice versa, to come to me when I step out the kitchen door. I put the bird seeds exactly where their rooster says. This is in hopes of keeping them from wanting to inspect someone else's yard.
Mine come running as soon as they realize that I am on my steps. Sometimes when I just open the door to my closed in porch, they will come running and/or flying from a good distance away. I didn’t think that such idiotic birds would be able to know to come to me for meally worms. I love my guineas though.
