Does it seem normal to you that they should do a complete anesthesia for this ? I feel like it's just confort for them so she doesn't struggle. (Which unfortunately she does a lot).
it does not seem normal but if they could not control her I can see them doing it.

Do you think it's just a phase and I should let them ride it out? Or should I try adding yet other sleeping commodities so they have more choices ?
if there is only enough space for everyone to roost right next to someone, you likely do not have enough roost space. I would consider adding more for certain.

So, is this a comedy thread now?
Let's get straight to the point: Grandma is very serious about this. She doesn't care about funny business anymore. She has grown out of it. Old chickens right... wait...

Grandma, I’ve thought about what you said, but it’s my character to attempt humor in everything I say. It’s part of my personality and every day life. If I offended you in any way, I’m sorry for that.
I can’t believe that I’m apologizing to a chicken! 🤦‍♂️

Happy twofer Tuesday!
Okay, the story behind these two ladies. I gave eggs to my riding instructor a while back (not sure when… I think around February) She had been wanting to hatch out chickens and she had just bought some baby chicks a few weeks before. Okay, the chicks hatched. Well, if you can’t tell, those are from my eggs. Bolt, BBQ, Splotch, and Pastel. Willow had just started laying so I didn’t give any eggs.
These two ladies are (the closer, big one is a Bolt baby) and the farther one might be a BBQ? She has a few gold flecks on her chest. She just doesn’t have any muffs. There are a lot more so be expecting more photos of these lovely girls. There are two roosters. Both are pretty but Bolts little rooster is a real looker. BBQ’s roo looks kinda like her old brother, Basil. But y’all are gonna have to wait!
