Kasumi...I think her batch of olive eggers is a leghorn/marans cross? Otherwise that's a lot of pink for an estimated 2.5 weeks...
But I suppose one rooster wouldn't be an issue.

I hope everyone is having a peaceful day.

I'm so sorry. 😞

I hope you can find the predator before they cause any more damage
I actually found this sucker with his head stuck in the fencing if my compound nest 🤣 the terd was beat up my the pair as he was going after their eggs. Male and female 14 did not like him there. Crazy thing is, I have no idea how he got in here! Where has he been hiding!?! I've also been trying to find out how to catch snakes as the smaller ones have been coming in and eating eggs or newly hatched chicks!!!

Oh, @RoyalChick , be afraid, be very afraid - looks like gossip around the water cooler! That may lead to another Union strike or, at the very least, a Union demand for negotiations of benefits and wage (meal worm) hike!
Yikes, they seem like they are getting ready to give updates to the High Bantams (the "overseers" of Beackbook)

I'm kinda stressed out having these all these birds in the aviary, as they breed like once a month and the finches have like 6-8 babies each, and with 22 pairs you can imagine how many I get every month! Not including the budgies I'm so overrun with birds I'm debating releasing sone of the more "wild" birds. They forage, make their own nest in the vines, they do good in winter, and they are fast enough to evade predators so they would be fine. Should I get rid of some of them? There are so many I can't sell them all!

Here is one of the example birds of what I'd release: (he's a tagged breeder make so he's staying)

Fungus got attacked by another budgie today. I moved the other pair as the male is the one who attacked poor Fungus. He looks like a Irish guy had a bad night at the bar. I got some medical equipment for his injuries and he's doing much better! Here is a before and after. I couldn't get all the blood off his feathers but now it's just him, his mate, and her brother Bluebell who is super calm. I was actually seeing Bluebell preening Fungus and feeding him.

After I helped him:

Barbara Beethov-hen threw up. Could something be wrong with her? Cockerel has done it a few times but this was a while ago and he doesn't really do it any more.
What kind of music do you play around your chooks? Maybe BB didn’t like something that she heard!
