Hmmm it has come to my attention that today is actually Thursday.

Not sure what happened to Tuesday, or Wednesday for that matter.

So I will endeavor to get some good Thirsty Thursday photos for later. Now I need to run up to the house and finish making bread.

As fun as chicks are they take time. Even more time if you are brooding them yourself. I completely understand your decision. Things lined up for the fall hatch I thought earlier in the spring and summer I would allow to happen. Due to lack of time and stress I ended up breaking Karen. Even with a broody hen I do not have it in me to allow another hatch to happen at the moment.

I was just thinking about my jump in the number of chooks here; my pensioners I don't count, but I have doubled my flock, and while they are still fun, I do miss just having a few to play around with. I have found they don't rely upon me as much now that they have a big flock to be with.

Like one's kids they are off doing their own thing now, oh I still get the regular visitor to the office here, but they don't stay long anymore.

Both my girls know their name. It's so cute when they come running too me as I call them. That's when they are not ignoring me

That is how close Coco wants to be to my face. (No glasses on, so I kept my eyes closed just in case)
