Someone in the Chicken Palace has started laying.
Why do they always wait until I am away to start laying?!
It is a blue egg. But that doesn’t narrow it down much.
My surveillance system is worthy of most totalitarian regimes, but failed to identify with certainty. All evidence points to Piglet.

Congrats! It is always really hard to find out who starts laying, because you don't see them and young hens tend to like to lay in random places.

Lovely youngsters! Is the one in the middle a frizzle/silkie cross?

Those are all my original 3 I first got - they are all silkies as far as I was told, Fluffy a regular silkie; Curly a frizzle silkie; Henny Penny a satin silkie

They will be 3 yrs old in April.
