I am thinking my best bet is to treat with Ivermectin and again in 10 days for the birds themselves

The roosting ledges and nest boxes I will strip down and spray with pyrmethrin.

I have heard great things about Elector PSP but can't get it here in Canada.

Wish I had known about it back in the Spring when I was coming home, I would have dropped into a TSC and got some.

I am thinking it's those Azurs who brought it here, I did check them when I first got them here but they were so wild I guess I didn't so a good enough check.

Poor babies - I can only imagine how awful that crawling is, I have some crawling on me and its horrible. I know they cannot survive on me so I am not worried about that.

What I am worried about is my poor chooks. OK well I am going to start dosing everyone now :(

Then I will strip out all the shavings from the nest boxes and the hen house and summer house, and start removing all the loose hay laying around - on the up side removing all the loose hay should get them ladies to maybe lay in the nest boxes.
