Tina has runny watery 💩 it's almost clear
I've taken a picture and there's a yukky slug coming for it

I'll make up the probiotic tomorrow.
I stopped her amoxicillin this morning so I'll give that the 24 hours to keep working.

After the probiotic with the electrolytes I'll give them both molasses water. That's supposed to help with anything bad that they may have eaten. I have to look up the measurements on that and will add it here

This is the one I am getting. At 5 months old, I am very very confident that is a pullet. She is also already named as well once she arrives if her personality matches up with it. Right now, she screams the name "Poppet".
What a cutie pie! 🥰 🥰

I would not give molasses as that may cause runny stools. My chooks are having runny stools for the past month or so, and I am sure it’s because everyone is now in some sort of stage of moulting.

I don’t worry about poops being different as long as I don’t see parasites in it or blood, also if they are behaving normally and have normal crops I don’t worry.

Of instance over the past few years I have noted the Sophia gets runny watery poops and a soft crop when she is moulting. I make sure she is eating well and she is active. The first year she moulted here she was really poorly, I was giving her scrambled eggs to get her to eat.

Princess is growing some lovely white feathers back on her very fluffy butt.
Shame about the rest of her covered in mud

This was taken yesterday, I'm afraid Tina needs her fluffy cleaned.

They are looking great! Looks like Tina is moulting - is she getting pin feathers in?

So lovely to see them out and about, do any of your other neighbours have chooks? I take it your community allows chooks, how many can a person have? Most communities here allow 3 hens but no roosters.

Surprisingly though Barrie Alliston and Angus don’t allow any poultry - how ridiculous is that?
