Poor girl :( it’s raining feathers here as well! This is my first time experiencing a seasonal molt and wow it is dramatic! I was truly shocked by how fast it happens.

Also, why on earth does nature do it now and not when it’s warmer???

I asked the Lord that question. He said that it’s because the sun, gives the chooks A sun burn. High frequency gamma radiation and other stuff :old

Is Branch keeping her company while she is quarantined ?

So is she grey, or blue, or some other colour? I love her light neck and dark head and body 😊
Branch broke Quarantine when I opened the door to bring her some food the brat. I let him visit with her for about 5 minutes then kicked him out. He treated her like he does the teenage chicks and tidbitted and showed her the food. I do not know what to call her. She has a black head and tail and a silver/charcoal body. If we were talking horses she would be a blue roan, chickens well, she is pretty.

I thought she was called Poppet.
