I’m in a quandary (that’s a dilemma with attitude). What should I serve my knight for his breakfast? I have limited choices today. Scrambled eggs with sausage and cheese, or oatmeal (no salt) and yogurt.
I could stretch out some corn fritters I guess. 🤔 ?

I think you should give him scrambled eggs (for the protien) AND a little bit of oatmeal with greek yogurt. ( probiotics, and they all love warm oatmeal!)

You could mix it all up together, or serve him like a knight - 3 course meal!

1st course is all flock feed, with safflower seeds on the side. Then the oatmeal, then if he prefers, the scrambled eggs. Meally worms for dessert.

Ooooo! I love this one!

Because the image is taller than my screen, at first I thought it was a cool moon/sky picture. Then I saw the mountains, then the field.

Then I started at the bottom and slowly scrolled up. Like walking in the field, seeing the mountains, and then looking up to the moon and sky. Lovely.
I hadn't considered using the moon pic for the autumn contest. Going to seriously think about using it.

I think that because it used to originally be TSC, when Peavey Mart bought their locations out, they kept some of their suppliers, and likely Hoover Hatchery was one of them.

My plan for next year is four total: originally it was a couple dark Brahma and a couple French cuckoo Marans, but now with those Campines put out there - so lovely! Maybe a dark Brahma and couple French cuckoo Maran and a campine 😊💕
Check with your store. A option I have with either Rural King or TSC company is if I go through their hatchery I can special order some chicks and have them shipped to the store from the hatchery. It is a tad more pricey with chick cost but if I wanted a certain number of something and a certain breed it would be the way to go for me.

14 weeks and 6 days. That is how long Corona brooded her first and so far only group of chicks. They turned 15 weeks old on Tuesday and I watched and sure enough she was done. They left for their new home yesterday morning along with Blueberries daughter Ducky. They did not have to travel far, 15 miles away to my cousin who bought "Tiger Chicken" and her siblings this spring. She called me Tuesday night asking if I still had them and to inform me that one of the hens had laid her first egg that day. Her grandson also came with her to visit with grandma and look over all my chickens. That is how he ended up with Ducky. I am a wimp with little kids. I was firm though when he saw Spot and Dottie the speckled sussex's and Poppet. Sorry little man, you have Tiger Chicken, Poppet is mine. I did give them the info to where Poppet's brother is if they were interested. If they still had him they were going to pick him up later in the day to be Tiger Chickens future husband.
