I hope everyone agrees: Pip on my shoulder makes a good tax payment.
I had a building I needed to demolish and the Fire Department asked to use it for training. Of course I said yes.
Ours is a fully volunteer force so all those guys work full time somewhere else.
Turns out here they can’t burn it down by law - they can only set off smoke machines and cut holes in walls.
My neighbor and I were going to sit on the wall of her place and watch. But at the last minute the volunteers were all needed for wildfires elsewhere in the state so it never happened.
Your experience looks terrifying - but I am glad it is finally dealt with.
Time to repaint the garage I guess!
