My kiddos stayed in after I chased down the little farts again. It started raining so they were not interested I going out which was fine with me, I closed up the barn doors and worked at grouting the spaces in the brick pavers - darn chooks kept stepping in the concreteThe sighing of the pines... beautiful sound.
I think my shower curtains are 6 mil. My prevailing wind is from the west, so that helps: It's blowing the shower curtains against the fence. I have the over laps so that the opening is to the south, as north is my next most prevailing wind. We do get wind from the south, but usually less strong and less often. Southwest is the most worrisome direction.
But at 15-35 degrees F, any wind feels chilly. When it's colder than that, they mostly stay in the coop.

I should have left a couple of the foot prints I guess. But they then pooped on the wet concrete and I had to go chase them away from that. And when they started to eat the concrete I pitched a fit!

Wonder if wet concrete is bad for chickens
