Yep, I don't have any snow boots. Didn't need them in the city...
Our power went out as well! My dad shoveled his way over and hooked up my generator thankfully. Poor hubby has been on the road for 2.5 hours for what is normally a 45 minute drive from work.
Looks like we have 7" of accumulation currently.

Ummm. That is three not 2!

Mine are traveling as 1 clump now that is gotten cold. That's the best 2fer I could do. At least Sydney’s eyes were closed. She wasn't posing.

6 birdies with bulging full crops at bedtime. Hubby cleared a path to the coop because he saw me struggling with the shovel...I didn't have any gloves on haha...
Beautiful view though.

The gross thing is this should all melt tomorrow, so it's going to be wet and sloppy all day. And my birthday is tomorrow so I get to have a muddy birthday I guess.

I’m not sure exactly, what is wrong with Sir Jaffar. He has been sluggish and without energy the last few days. His situation hasn’t improved since Friday.
I have been taking him with me everywhere, making sure he gets water and vitamins. He’s been eating normally but he just doesn’t have the energy I’m used to seeing. He’s not interested in being around the other chooks at all.
I kinda thought that I should say something about it to the club here.

Beautiful for sure, but I still hate winter.

You need to get to the store and get some winter gear: boots, toque, mitts, snow pants and a good coat!

I keep looking out the window to see if it’s snowing yet haha.

Soon will go to do evening chores…

I see that Blanche is in the window well, and 5 chicks on one door and tow others on the other door…. Only have 6 chicks so the 7th must be one of the Azurs - Bob did warm me about them flying….

at least the horses are behaving.
